Vacancy position details of clerk and stenographer :

For clerk vacancies : General – 21/ SC – 4 / OBC – 6. Totally 31 vacancies are available.

For stenographer : General – 11/ SC – 1 / OBC – 2. Totally available vacancies are 13.

Eligibility criteria for clerk and stenographer :

Age : For both the job General 18 – 30, SC 18 – 35, OBC 18 – 33, in service employee 18 – 45.

Educational qualification : 

For Clerk : UG degree B.A or B.Sc or equivalent degree from recognized university. He or She must be complete is school in Hindi/Punjabi and candidate should have good computer skills.

For Stenographer : UG degree B.A or B.Sc or Equivalent degree from recognized university.

Procedure to apply for both the clerk and stenographer jobs :

step 2: A webpage will be displayed. By using your email ID and password you can enter to online application page.

Step 3: After successful log in, a page will displayed. It consist of application form, candidates should fill the form correctly. And then click to submit. After submitting challan will be generated, candidates should pay the fees through the challan generated. The payment will made to the bank noted in the challan.

step 4: Again log in to the online application page, enter the code given to you after paying the fees.

step 5: Then click submit. Your form has been successfully submitted, your interview call letter will send you through mail which you used to log in.

Selection process for Stenographer and Clerk :

For stenographer : The candidate should pass in the 80 W.P.M in the English shorthand and 20 W.P.M. in Transcription of the same on computer. Candidates should pass the computer proficiency test like spread sheet and word procession. Passed candidates will be call for checking original testimonials. Then who got high grades in the tests, that candidates must be selected.

For Clerk : A written examination will be conduct on two parts General Knowledge and English comprehensions. Both part test will conduct for 50 marks. Candidates should get totally 20 marks in two papers. Paper I general knowledge will evaluated first, who pass in the paper. Their paper II will be corrected, finally who got high marks get selected after the verification of certificates.
